The Civil War, the Trail of Tears, the rise of the apple industry, and other events left a rich history and countless stories to be told. We’ve attempted to capture some of these stories in song for this collection, Cane Hill. The town had all but disappeared by the mid twentieth century but today there is an exciting revival afoot. We were thrilled and honored when the Historic Cane Hill board members asked us to create a CD project of story-songs that celebrate Cane Hill’s unique history. We hope this music inspires you to come visit the Cane Hill Museum and experience the rich history that surrounds the town for yourself!
